The Sheikh Sultan Award is aimed at young people aged 13 - 18 years of age. Absolute Adventure is able to deliver the Adventure section of this award at all levels.

As part of this adventure, participants must camp in a self sufficient manner;

Bronze, for 3 days and 2 nights
Silver for 4 days and 3 nights
Gold for 5 days and 4 nights
This can be done as consecutive nights, or separate 1 night camping trips.

Participants should bring their own sleeping bags, tents and mattresses, though tents and mattresses can be hired from us.
Participants should bring their own crockery, cutlery and food to cook themselves once at camp under the supervision of our staff.

We will provide examples of the food to bring once you have signed up with us.
We will provide communal washing and cooking facilities such as; Barbeques, gas stoves and grills, however the participants may bring their own cooking equipment with them if they desire.

Upon completion of the Adventure Camp, participants will receive a certificate of completion is order for them to 
register this against the award. 

For the Bronze and Silver awards we use the enclosed site of the Sharjah Girl Guides.  Here we can offer many activities, such as;

• Maze
• Soccer
• Survival 
• Cooking
• Volleyball
• Badminton
• Gardening
• Soft Archery
• Orienteering
• Nature walk
• Camp Craft
• Slack Lining
• Sensory Trail
• Initiative Games 
• Bird Watching & Treasure Hunt.

For the Gold Award, we will head into the Musandam Governorate of Oman where we can offer most of the same activities we do for Bronze and Silver, and in addtion we will live aboard an open deck Dhow boat where we can undertake activities such as;

• Fishing
• Trekking
• Snorkeling
• Deep Water Soloing
• Cultural Exploration
• Stand Up Paddleboarding 
• Initiative Games & Swimming.

We provide: 

• Minimum of one member of staff per 12 participants
• Qualified Instructors/ Supervisors for each of the activities 
• Fully Risk assessed activities
• Washing Facilities
• Cooking Facilities
• Certifcates of Completion
• Gear Rental Options
• All Activity Specific Equipment & Drinking Water.
