This entry level trek is fantastic for families, new trekkers or anyone who wants to get into a stunning and seldom visited part of the Musandam!

After meeting at our Adventure Center for a trip briefing and to prepare our equipment, the trip starts with a 20 minute boat ride along the coast to the village of Sanat.  This fishing village is still inhabited by the local tribes and, is a great place to explore and get to know the local lifestyle.  The trek follows an old path behind the village, climbing a shallow wadi until we reach a large flat area which is the site of an abandoned village.  With a bit of exploration, we can find a number of artifacts left behind when the village was abandoned and, stop to rest in the shade of The Wedding Tree!  After a snack and rest, we'll continue trekking along the coast and descend to the next protected bay, where our boat will meet us.  On the journey back to Dibba, we'll stop to swim in a coastal cave which is a really special experience.  In and around the cave is a great for spotting a variety of fish and other sea life.
