All programmes include accommodation; groups can stay at the Absolute Adventure Plantation Camp, Absolute Adventure Centre, Farfar Camp or the Absolute Adventure Beach or Mountain Bivouacs. Absolute Adventure can also deliver programmes at any east coast hotel or a venue of your choice.
Each of our three permanent camps has been built by local craftsmen, in very traditional style, using local materials. Students will have the opportunity to meet local Emirati’s and Omani’s during their stay with us. We actively promote local culture and heritage and teach local history, customs, flora and fauna as part of our adventure programmes. All our camps are within 5 minutes drive of a hospital.
We can accommodate group sizes from 10 up to 180. For school and youth groups a member of staff is required for every 10 pupils.
We offer a range 5 day programs suitable for week without walls. Locally we have our popular outdoor residential programmes; internationally we offer cultural tours to such places as Nepal, Jordan, Syria, India, Thailand and Sri Lanka. The focus of these international tours can include cooking or language classes, community involvement, volunteer work or other specializations. Contact us to discuss your needs. All trips are accompanied by our experienced, qualified leaders.
We can provide full support and assessment for bronze, silver and gold awards. Call us for full details.
The CAS requirement is a core part of the International Baccalaureate diploma. We can provide a number of options that help improve our environment or help and support local communities. Examples are: falaj construction, organic gardening, date farming, building traditional stone or barasti houses or shelters, trail building and maintenance, beach, wadi or mountain village clean ups. Students can also volunteer to marshall one of our series of adventure races or work with one of the charities we support.
