Absolute
Adventure understands that school adventure trips must
combine valuable learning experiences with exposure to
new & stimulating situations to develop the students
confidence. We use a number of different outdoor
activities within our programmes. Some are used to
promote team building or group awareness, others because
they encourage leadership and some are used simply
because they are fun.
Safety is
our primary concern. All activities are held under the
supervision of local & expatriate fully qualified &
experienced instructors. All staff are medically trained
and a full medical kit is present during all activities.
Full
equipment is provided for each student and accompanying
school staff members for all activities. This will
include life jackets for water based activities. No
student or staff member requires any previous experience
as full instruction will be given before any activity
commences. Instructor to student ratio is usually 1:6.
A student
welfare representative can be taken on a pre visit to
sites prior to the finalization of programmes to address
any supervisory or safety issues and to discuss
programme customization and optimization. Information
regarding the flora and fauna and geological makeup of
the area can be provided to assist in preparation of
coursework to carry out prior to, or during the
programme.
